Omega Fire Ministries International was founded in Auchi, Edo State in 2004 by Apostle Johnson Suleman, a Nasarawa State-born minister who grew up in circumstances he has publicly described as marked by poverty and hardship. That background informs, in ways that are observable and documented, how he leads a ministry whose community welfare programmes are among the most visible and consistent of any Pentecostal church in Nigeria’s Middle Belt and South-South region.

Apostle Suleman was born on November 5, 1971 in Toto, Nasarawa State. He received his early education in Nasarawa before pursuing theological training and eventually founding OFM in Auchi at the age of 33. Under his leadership, the church grew from a local assembly in Edo State into a global ministry with branches across Nigeria and in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa, Germany, and several other nations. He holds multiple honorary doctorates and has authored over 50 books on faith, leadership, and Christian living.
